Freshwest Grill

With the PATH system, there are so many options for lunch in Downtown Toronto.
After years of trying out all the different food courts, I managed to establish a few favourites - one of which is Freshwest Grill at the TD Food Court.

Chicken inside-out burrito
It's a burrito without the tortilla - almost like an all-you can eat topping salad!
I love the toppings here because they're always fresh! The chicken is delicious (which may be due to the fact that it is marinated overnight in the southwestern blend) and flame grilled and it is served on a bed of cilantro lime rice (or brown rice as in my case) with black beans with roasted corn and fajita vegetables ($0.75 more). Other toppings include fresh lettuce, green pepper, monterey jack and chedder cheese as well as burrito sauce, sour cream, home-made guacamole ($0.75 more - but worth it). They also offer home made fat-free salsa, and I usually get the pico de gallo since it's the mildest with tomato, red onion, cilantro, lime juice and spices.

Absolutely delicious! My total was $10.19 including taxes but it's a real deal in downtown Toronto for lunch considering you get a customized meal with fresh ingredients, lots of food and quick service.
