Redang Holiday Beach Villa - Redang

We booked an all-inclusive villa on Redang Island and stepped ashore onto this:

Clear blue waters and white sand beaches...paradise!
Morning with all the ships
Afternoon - you can see the shadow of the coral reef
A better picture of the reef

The Redang Holiday Beach Villa included 3 boat trips out to snorkeling locations with coral reefs (renting snorkel gear is a separate cost).
And they offered 4 meals a day (please note - the pictures may represent different meals on different days):
1) Breakfast
People lined up for the fried eggs and roti canai station
Fried eggs, peanuts and cucumber slices
Yum!
Roti Canai
They make it right to order - you can watch them flip it like they do murtabaks. However, the roti canai doesn't have anything inside.

2) Lunch
Choy, pork, Jasmine rice, egg roll and spicy mushrooms
The food was okay - not the greatest, but edible.

3) High Tea (after snorkeling)
They usually served a simple dessert like barley soup, warmed coconut milk or Chinese mung bean soup

4) Dinner
Cucumbers and spicy Shanghai noodles (quite spicy)

Fish cakes, stir-fried cabbage, spicy fish, chicken drumsticks (all the non-spicy options that day)

Choy, Fried fish (very bony) and stir fried eggs and spicy chicken
Meh - edible at least.

Barbecue day...
Coleslaw, "Not chicken nuggets", chicken weiner (very strange tasting), fish ball, fried chicken wings, fried rice and slightly charred ribs
I think I would have preferred the regular menu options. This dinner was quite bad...thank goodness we had the foresight to bring cup noodles.
