Four

My friend and I decided to catch up over some drinks after work and Four was convenient for both of us since it was right in the heart of the Financial District and easily accessible by P.A.T.H.
They have this drinks promotion 4 @ 4 ($4.44 for one of their cocktails after 4pm) and a food promotion: any 3 small bites for $25 which we thought was reasonable (since each plate was originally $7-12)
Unfortunately, the drinks weren't that great - but as for the bites:

The item at the top of the picture is the Calamari with black bean sauce, asian slaw, chili orange vinaigrette + coriander sauce. The calamari was really super tender and buttery  and really very tasty. You could taste a bit of the chili but it wasn't overwhelming which made it nice.

The other item in the picture is the crab + corn cake with avocado + jalapeno puree with mango + jicama slaw. The crab cake was great! Very meaty and quite large, but it was slightly cold almost like it was microwaved but the center didn't quite finish heating. After we finished the crab cake and when we were about to start on the jicama slaw, the waiter came and took it away our mango salad after one tiny bite. Not sure if they were just that pretentious and saw the slaw as an aesthetic accompaniment, or if the waiter accidentally took away our plate because he thought we were done. Fail.

The last item we got was the mini bison burgers with avocado, tomato jam and pepper jack cheese. These sliders were super cute! But I didn't see the avocado in the bun at all...and I couldn't really taste it if it was there. The burgers were ok; definitely different eating bison compared to beef since it is a bit tougher. It was a nice mini appetizer though.

Conclusion: Drinks aren't very good here (they're usually pretty watered down), but the bites are quite nice. Their main selling point is that all their dishes are under 650 calories and luckily even though the calorie count is low, it doesn't mean the flavour of their food is compromised. Instead, they make creative combinations that taste good - so it's good for the body and yummy (personally I think the a large reason for the low count is because they practice portion control in smaller servings - but that's just me).
