I felt like I found a hidden gem in Scarborough - it's one of the most multicultural plazas I've seen in a while (excluding food courts). There's a Jamaican place, Vietnamese place, Greek place, Taiwanese place, Mexican place and Cantonese restaurant in this tiny strip mall
Garlic Bread and Greek Salad (comes with the steak)
The salad was really good with lots of feta and Greek dressing on the lettuce. The garlic bread had cheese on top which is nice.
12 oz Sirloin steak with mushrooms, rice and potatoes $19.95
We ordered the steak medium and it came medium well, but it was still okay. There were a lot of mushrooms, rice and potatoes. I really liked their Greek rice and potatoes since they were savoury and flavoursome.
Lunch portion of the Chicken Souvlaki $9.95
The chicken was perfectly cooked - super succulent and appetizing. The tzatziki was thick and flavourful. I also got a smaller portion of the rice and salad which was more than enough food.
Baklava
The baklava was not too sweet and it had a nice crispy top crust, but I found that it had too much honey which made it a little too soggy in my opinion.
Overall: Great meal at Hunter's Pizza & Souvlaki House and the food is really reasonably priced. It's good value-for-money here.
