Sharon Garden

Korean side dishes - chapchae, kimchi, beansprouts, potatoes and gojuchang

Beef Bulgogi lunch box with seafood jjamppong $10.99
The side dishes were good, but the main course was a bit of a let down.

Pine House Cafe

Still working on finding a good Hong Kong Style chicken spaghetti with tomato sauce:
Trying another Hong Kong Style Cafe

Stir fry noodle with beef

Baked pork chop with tomato sauce and spaghetti
Unfortunately, this wasn't the tomato sauce flavour I was looking for.

Decent sized portion of chicken souvlaki for under $10 from Rabba Fine Foods.

Niagara-on-the-Lake Golf Club - Niagara-on-the-Lake

Eggs Benedict with salmon
The hollandaise sauce seemed a little watery.

Spinach and Feta omelette
The omelette was pretty good - there was a lot of spinach

Spicy Olive Bar & Grill - Niagara Falls

Spaghetti alla pescatore
Seafood spaghetti

Gnocchi

Stuffed Chicken and spaghetti pomodoro $23
The chicken was stuffed with prosciutto and provolone cheese.
Decent value for money at Spicy Olive Bar and Grill.

Nina's Gelateria and Pastry Shop - Niagara on the Lake

Picturesque Niagara-on-the-Lake
We were here for some winery tours and to get away from Toronto

Mini Lime Coconut and Raspberry White Chocolate Cheesecake Tart
Perfect bite sized tarts - if only they could make all desserts like this, I wouldn't feel so bad about my sweet tooth.

Korean Grill House

$23.99 for all you can eat Korean Barbecue
Includes beef, pork, chicken, beef ribs, sausage, ox liver, salmon, squid and fish filet.
It's been a while since I've had AYCE Korean BBQ - I think I had more of their pickled radishes than some of their meats (definitely avoided the ox liver and didn't have a lot of their fish).

The Prime Shoppe - Boston

Prime rib sandwich with gravy
The prime rib sandwich wasn't very good. I would skip this.

James Hook Co. - Boston

New England Aquarium

I had a few more places on my Boston lobster roll list and James Hook Co. was one of them:
It's in an unassuming trailer - we nearly missed it!

Lobster roll
The lobster proportion to bun was insane, but it was so good!

Double Stuffed Clam
(My friends were tired of lobster rolls)

Abigail’s Tea Room - Boston

We came to learn about the Boston Tea Party and stayed for hours in the tea room to avoid the rain and drink a million cups of their different teas

It's $3.99 for a cup and you can try all the teas you'd like from their 5 selections of tea (bottomless tea)

Singlo and Young Hyson Green Tea
Both of these were green teas and lighter in flavour

Bohea Black Tea and Congou (Kung Fu)
Strong black teas

Souchong black tea with smoky flavour

Chowder and scone

Boston Cream Pie $4.50
Very chocolate-y and lots of custard

I would highly recommend the bottomless cup experience! It was a lot of fun sitting inside the museum tea house and experiencing all the different types of tea.

The Red House - Cambridge

We came here for the 2 for $1 oysters

Oyster feast! We ended up eating 30 oysters

Octopus and Scallops
The scallops and the octopus were perfectly cooked - not gummy or chewy. Just delicious!

Tatte - Boston

Boston Public Gardens

Pistachio Crush Cake $7
There were so many pistachios on top, I had some high expectations.
The cake was good, but the pistachio flavour wasn't that strong. The search for the perfect pistachio dessert continues...
