Royal Caribbean Cruise (Day 5) - Allure of the Seas (West Caribbean)

We're back at sea again for another day as we head towards Mexico. This is the pretty view from the Park Cafe. I was the only one up early, so I grabbed a cup of coffee and a fruit cup and just enjoyed some peace and quiet in the shaded center of the boat.
BREAKFAST
I went to Johnny Rockets to try out their breakfast since I never really get the chance to go there.

The "Works" with potatoes, ham, peppers, onions and cheese.
It was okay - but definitely not as good as the other breakfast options. Service here was pretty slow too.

LUNCH
OMG! The menu options look so good! It makes me wonder why I haven't scheduled all my activities and plans on the ship around meals on the ship. We eat like kings three times a day (maybe more if your stomach can take it). It almost makes you want to work out harder on the ship (there weren't that many people on the running track or in the gym though).

Calamari Salad, Tandoori Lamb Skewers and Ricotta and Spinach gnocchi
The calamari salad was a little sad, but the gnocchi was pretty good especially with the gorgonzola cream sauce.

Mexican corn and avocado salad and trout filet
The trout was a little crispy and charred in some places, but the fish was still okay. The corn salad was my friend's attempt at eating light, but it wasn't particularly filling. It's okay though because we've still got dessert!
Raspberry Chocolate Ganache Tart and Brazo de Mercedes
The tart was so decadent, rich and delicious!

Gianduia cake
So yummy!

SNACK
Ice cream with half strawberry and half chocolate!

DINNER - FORMAL NIGHT

Here it is! LOBSTER NIGHT! (and dress up night - but it's not as important as lobster).

Royal Seafood Salad and Creamed wild mushrooms with puff pastry
We had such fancy appetizer options! The seafood feast begins! Crab, lobster and shrimp with some tossed salad. The presentation was a lot sloppier tonight probably because it was filled with people looking to have an early meal before watching a show or doing fun things in their formal wear. The lineups outside the restaurant were also pretty crazy - we're lucky our whole party was here on time so we could get seated right away and start orders. The puff pastry was a little flat too - but it was still pretty tasty.

Duck and Port Wine Terrine
An interesting brioche with the terrine. It was still pretty good, but it looked a little strange.

LOBSTER! Fisherman's plate and three cheese tortelloni
The fisherman's plate was so good with the shrimps, lobster tail, flavoured rice pilaf and vegetables. The lobster was simply cooked in a butter sauce and it was so tasty! We were limited to two plates of the fisherman's plate (which is understandable given all the people on the cruise ship looking to get a lobster meal). The pasta was okay - but you could tell that there wasn't as much effort put into it as the fisherman's plate meal.

Grand Marnier Souffle
Fluffy and perfect - amazing considering how many meals they were churning out and how fast the turnover of the tables was for the formal night.

Ivory Chocolate mousse and Baked Alaska
This was my first time eating a baked Alaska and I always thought it came flambéd to the table. I also had no idea what was in it - but I soon discovered it was ice cream. It was good, but I don't think I'd order it again since it was so sugary.

Sugar Free Lychee and Coconut Gateaux
It was a relatively sad cake. I thought it'd be more lychee flavoured, but I tasted more coconut.
