Salzburg, Austria

Salzburg is such a lovely scenic city in Austria:

It's also the home to the original Mozartkugel. I don't like marizpan as a rule (even if it's pistachio), but this Mozartkugel was AMAZING and so yummy that you don't even notice the grainy texture of marizpan. Also, there's a ton of other mozartkugel stores - it can get quite confusing unless you know which one is the original (look for the name Paul Fürst)

We found a cozy restaurant along Judengasse and decided to sit and eat at Saran Essbar (with a front row seat outside the restaurant to people watch)

Wiener Schnitzel and potatoes
So much schnitzel....
Sausage plate with three different types of sausage, potatoes and sauerkraut

Salad
Apple Strudel
This was REALLY yummy - warm from the oven and so flaky and delicious.
