I got a coupon for a free Umo donut pack online. It took me a few tries at a few Longo's locations before I found it:
Umo Japanese Style Steam Baked Donuts White Peach flavour $2.99
Actually pretty good, but very sweet even though it didn't have any icing. Since it was pre-packaged, it had a 2023 expiry date (which makes me wonder about the preservatives). It was a bit crumbly, but it had a decent fluff overall to the donut.

Longo's has a sale this week on their zeppolini with 6 for $7.98, so I got an assortment:
Clockwise from top left: strawberry, lemon, pistachio, nutella, hazelnut, strawberry
The zeppolini pastry which is the deep fried dough layer was prety fluffy in general and each of the desserts had a lot of cream or custard inside.
Strawberry: good strawberry jam inside to balance out the custard in the zeppolini pastry.
Lemon: excellent lemon curd cream, it wasn't too tart or sour and was sweet like meyer lemons.
Pistachio: more sugar than pistachio flavour, but there were some nuts inside.
Hazelnut: a strange hazelnut taste and okay overall
Nutella: Actually not nutella flavoured and more chocolate flavoured but it was a hot chocolate and powdery chocolate kind of flavour instead - would skip this one.

Canneloni $5.99 for 6 pieces
Pretty good deal - Longo's has a rotating hot table, so you never really know what you're going to get - this was probably one of the better deals I've seen since I like Longo's tomato sauce that has a strong tomato flavour but isn't too tangy or overpowering and their pasta dishes are also generally pretty good. There was a lot of spinach and cheese stuffed into the canneloni which was pretty good - would be even better if it was meat!

Pretty good roasted turkey and there was a lot of veggies also packed into the container.

Beef Roast with roasted potatoes and steamed vegetables $10.99
Really tender beef that was perfectly cooked and seasoned and the potatoes were really yummy with a crisp outside shell. This roast isn't always available at Longo's, so definitely grab it when you get a chance! It's good value for money for $10.99 considering it's already cooked for you and ready to serve.

It's key lime pie season again!
Unfortunately, this Longo's key lime pie slice was terrible - the super sweet whipped marshmallow on top was completely separated from the key lime curd. The pie crust was super crumbly and didn't even hold properly and the key lime curd was way too tart and had a grainy texture like apple sauce. I almost wonder if they cut up their really old key lime pies (that are almost expired) and tried to sell it this way. The box said the best before date was much later, but this pie slice was awful (won't be buying this again).

It's back! Lobster rolls are in season again!
Longo's has changed up their buns from last year - they had buttery brioche buns and baguettes. The brioche buns had 3 fluffy buns (one was already in my stomach before I remembered to take the picture) and the baguette is below. I would definitely prefer the baguette over the sweet brioche bun because the buttery brioche didn't work as well with the saltier lobster filling and it also made it taste a little fishier.
Cheese and Spinach Manicotti $5.99 and Lobster Roll in a baguette $6.99
The lobster roll baguette had lots of lobster mixture and a nice crispy baguette. It paired better, but it wasn't as shareable. The manicotti had a lot of cheese and not as much spinach flavour, but the tomato sauce was good and it worked well.

Longo's sometimes pre-packs some of their hot table items together to sell them in portioned out containers
Salmon, grilled vegetables and shell pasta stuffed with cheese $10.99
The salmon was overcooked since it was probably sitting at the hot table for most of the day, so it became very firm. However, it had good flavour with the herbs and it was a huge portion. Longo's does really good grilled vegetables, they're always seasoned really well and they have a slight char on the outside - the mix also always changes, but in this case there were zucchini, mushrooms and peppers. The stuffed pasta shells with cheese were okay with a tart tasty tomato sauce tying the soft pasta with the savoury cheese.
Veal $10
Huge portion and really tasty with lots of herbs and spices to make the meat stand out.
Lasagna $5.99
Such a good deal! There's only about 3 layers (as opposed to lasagnas with more layers), but the pasta was soft and tasty with a good mix of cheese, meat and sauce. I also really liked that they put in bechamel sauce to make it taste creamier.

Key Lime Cheesecake slice
Longo's makes their own pistachio and key lime cheesecakes now (two of my favourite flavours). I bought a slice to see how the key lime cheesecake would taste and it had a nice key lime flavour. The actual cheesecake felt a little heavy though and the crust was a little sticky (as opposed to crumbly).
Meatball sandwich with three toppings (cheese, roasted peppers and mushrooms)
The meatball sandwich was pretty good! They gave me a lot of peppers and they melted the cheese nicely in my sandwich. Delish!

Lobster Roll $6.99
It's lobster season!!! I was surprised to see how cheap their lobster rolls were, considering lobster rolls can go for up to $20 in Toronto. It was pretty tasty
