There were a lot of tour groups coming in and out of Skylon Tower, so the buffet was constantly busy. The food ran out pretty fast, but because we were there longer, we got a chance to try everything they offered. It was okay for the most part, we really just wanted the free ride up to the top of the tower for $44.95.

Tiger Sugar

There's been a lot of hype around Tiger Sugar since their brown sugar bubble tea looks so pretty 

I lined up for a while to get my brown sugar boba milk tea (no options to reduce the sugar)

It was super sweet because of all the sugar and cream. It looked really nice, but I don't think I'll have it again anytime soon.

I haven't seen this on a menu at a Vietnamese restaurant in Toronto. It was a lot of fun making our own rice rolls with egg rolls, soft-shell crab, shrimp, grilled pork and more. I would highly recommend this here! 

Fire pot hot and sour soup with tomatoes and rice $24.95

Super delicious! The soup was so savoury and it went really well with white rice.

El Five - Denver

The views are really nice since we're on the fifth floor of a building in Denver. 

Tres Leches French Toast with red currants and caramelized milk

I was a little skeptical at first since it didn't look like French toast. It looks so pretty and it tasted really good. 

Sausage Paella with chorizo, sausage, cheese, rice, egg and salsa verde and aioli

Really good for brunch! It had the crispy rice edges and tons of sauce = tasty and good textures with every spoonful.

Royal Arch Trail

We got the Family Love for a few of us to share. 

Whole fried chicken, two large sides and four biscuits. 

Buttery delicious biscuits still warm from the oven

Fried chicken with pickles and a hot mustard sauce

The chicken was good and the sauce made it better. 

Green chile mac & cheese with poblano peppers and hand mashed potatoes with gravy

The sides were really good and they were quite sizable portions.
