Minya Hotel in Shanghai
Breakfast Buffet area
It sparkles! :D
They had a good selection of Western breakfast food (waffles, muffins, danishes, sausages) and Chinese breakfast food (chow mein, congee, buns)
Stuff I Went Back For | Not as Tasty Stuff |
Fried Rice | Sausage |
Noodles | Mantou bun (at the bottom of the picture) |
Croissant | Soggy Waffle |
Wonton noodle soup was really good! They had a ton of options for toppings including seaweed, shrimps, green onions and more.
The broth was clear and delicious and the noodles and bok choy were soft and yummy.
Their congee had a thick consistency and tasted good.
Soy Milk (unsweetened)
and the cookie-like thing in the middle of the crackers is a chocolate macaron!
Unfortunately, it was hard and very chewy (probably a day old), but it had a really good chocolate flavour.
Overall: One of the best breakfast buffets we had in China! The food was full of flavour and not too oily.
