Xizhou Garden Hotel Breakfast - Wuxi

 

Some of the rooms overlooked the dining area (good thing we didn't stay in that area, otherwise we would have gotten a loud 6am wakeup call)

Danish, sushi, fried rice, Xizhou Princess Peach, Fresh Meat in Package and fried noodles

Notable items: 

1) Yes, the peach danish is called Xizhou Princess Peach: 

The peach part was good, but the danish was soggy and not flaky

2) The Pork bao was called fresh meat in package:

 

Ahh Chinglish - you make me laugh

Wontons were really yummy (I went back for thirds), but the noodle soup wasn't that great probably because the soup base was heavy and strongly flavoured

Vegetarian chicken and fish cakes in plum sauce

The vegetarian chicken was really good! The fish cakes were okay. 

Overall: One of my least favourite breakfasts, but I got a good laugh out of the Chinglish mistakes.
